AS-850 Series Microcomputer Based Protection Monitoring Device is newly developed by Shanghai Jinzhong Group Australian-Shanghai Electrical Appliances Co. Ltd, which is based on many years’ experience on developing protection monitoring devices and assimilated the merits of domestic and foreign similar products. It is a new generation of middle and low voltage protection monitoring products. The series products have integrated protection, remote control, remote measure and remote communication. It boasts compact structure, well for sealing, strong anti-interference and anti-shake abilities. It also has perfect protection function, flexible configuration to meet the needs of the users and achieve excellent performance price ratio. It can be widely applied to power supply systems and large-scale mining enterprises for 0.4 to 35 kV power systems.

This Monitoring Device provides nine AC input (three-phase protection current, two-phase measure current , one circuit of zero order current and three-phase voltage), 20 remote communication input (five operation circuit remote communication), eight programmable relay access point output as well as one operation circuit and two serial interfaces to meet the isolation layer protection monitoring demands of middle and low voltage system in most occasions.
This Monitoring Device adopts 32 60MHzCPU which has highest performance and low power loss in the field. It is of outstanding processing capabilities, real-time response performance and the normal operation of CPU load was only 20 per cent or less.
This Monitoring Device has perfectly combined a streamlined reliable core system with the large capacity expansion system to achieve organic unity of reliability and high-capacity storage. The core system uses the single chip technology and the bus does not leave the CPU chip which has enhanced reliability; the expansion system adopts large capacity reservoir which has integrated Chinese fonts base, reliable parameter backup and the complete history data record.
The large capacity information record of the device includes protection report text, SOE report text and system information each 512 pieces as well as 10 seconds or more failure recorder data of analog channel. Its failure recorder channel, the depth and the trigger conditions before and after the failure are of free configurations. Failure recorder can be displayed on LCD on the spot or through remote transfer which greatly facilitate the analysis of the accident.
This Monitoring Device has failure playback technology which enables many misuses or malfunctions, refusal to move caused by the product defects can replay itself after the incident. The technology provides reliable guarantee for the analysis of incidents and self-improvement of the product.
This Monitoring Device has definite value protection management function. Each amendment time and the definite value before and after the amendment will keep in record. The maximum record can be up to 512 pieces.
This Monitoring Device has inserted operation circuit which provides complete maintenance of switch skipping and closing pulse and mechanism anti-bounce functions. Meanwhile, the switch skipping and closing currents can automatically adapt.
This Monitoring Device has two serial interfaces. One is RS232, which is generally used for equipment maintenance and software online download. The other is RS232/485, which generally provides IEC87-5-103、MODIBUS stipulations and rules for system networking.
This Monitoring Device provides powerful system maintenance software, through which the operator can check the real-time information inside the equipment and modify the protection definite value, system parameter as well as send remote orders.
